Say a welcome goodbye to pain as you nestle in our relaxing treatment rooms. Susan Seely has a lifetime of experience in Remedial Massage and has also studied Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Osteopathy and Manipulative Therapy. She aims to give the best treatment, based on listening and intuitively tailoring her treatments to the individual from the various disciplines she has studied over the years.
Susan is also a member of L.C.S.P. Register of Remedial Masseurs and Manipulative Therapists, CHNC Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council and NHMA.
Remedial Massage is a specialised treatment involving a variety of techniques which are designed to work on deep levels of the body’s tissues. e.g. Soft Tissue Release where pressure is applied to release scar tissue tension. Neuro Muscular Technique is used to release tension using trigger points when a problem has existed for some time. The holding pattern of tension may be imprinted in the Central Nervous System.
Massage can also be used to prevent injury, whether it is work, sports or stress-related.
What to expect
Once settled in our beautiful treatment rooms, Susan will talk through the history of your issue and what you would like to gain from your remedial massage; this will help her identify which of the bodies trigger points and tissues most likely need work. Susan tailors the applied pressure to the individual and is able to weedle out any knots and tension. It is not unusual for clients to literally feel the pressure release from them, it really is a relieving and energizing experience. During the massage, you can relax in comfort on our massage beds. You will be covered with towels and a blanket, and Susan will only reveal the area she is working on.
Thank you so much for helping Patrick again. You really have helped no end and he is so much better now. He is continuing to do all the stretching exercises and is listening to his body. Towards the end of last year I think we both thought that it would be very hard for him to recover from the pain! But now it has virtually disappeared.
You really do achieve wonderful (miraculous) things!
